Lyro is an AI customer-support agent that answers your customers using your own content and takes real actions on their behalf. It works across every channel where your customers reach out, and it knows when to bring in a human.

What Lyro is

Lyro is more than a chatbot. It is a configurable AI agent that you set up in your dashboard and point at your own knowledge. Once trained, it holds natural conversations with your customers, resolves common questions on its own, and connects to the tools your business already uses to get things done.

You stay in control the whole time. You decide what Lyro knows, how it sounds, which actions it can take, and when it should hand a conversation to your team.

What Lyro does

At a high level, Lyro handles three jobs:

  • Answers questions from your content. Lyro searches your knowledge base - articles, Q&A entries, imported PDFs and CSVs, and scraped website pages - to give accurate, grounded answers instead of guessing.
  • Takes real actions through tools and integrations. Beyond answering, Lyro can connect to external services to look things up and complete tasks for the customer, using the integrations and custom tools you enable.
  • Escalates to a human when needed. When a question is outside what Lyro can resolve, or the customer asks for a person, Lyro hands the conversation to your team or opens a support ticket so nothing falls through the cracks.

Tip: You can run more than one agent and let Lyro automatically route each conversation to the right specialist - for example, a sales agent and a technical-support agent working side by side.

How to get started

Getting Lyro live takes just a few steps in your dashboard:

  1. Create your first agent and give it a name, a role, and a tone of voice.
  2. Train it on your content by adding knowledge sources so it can answer accurately.
  3. Connect a channel - start with the website chat widget or email.
  4. Set up escalation so the right conversations reach your team.
  5. Test in the Playground, then go live.

Note: You can always refine Lyro after launch - update its knowledge, adjust its tone, add tools, or change escalation rules at any time, and the changes apply to new conversations right away.
